RAB Member Application

Thank you for your interest in the Hill AFB Restoration Advisory Board (RAB). We are accepting applications for the Riverdale Community representative position. Below you will find information about the Hill AFB RAB, member responsibilities and an application for RAB membership. Please submit your application no later than Sunday, July 18, 2010.

General Information

The Restoration Advisory Board, or RAB, is a committee of community members, environmental regulators, local government representatives, base representatives and other interested parties. Its purpose is to advise Hill AFB on community concerns regarding environmental investigation and cleanup activities conducted under the Air Force’s Environmental Restoration Program. The RAB was formed to encourage more community participation in the cleanup process and to allow community members and other stakeholders to have meaningful dialog with Hill AFB environmental officials.

The RAB is co-chaired by a member of the community (chosen by the RAB’s community members) and by a representative from Hill AFB. The RAB has developed its own mission statement and operating procedures and consults with the Air Force in developing agendas and setting meeting dates, times and locations. Hill AFB provides administrative support for the RAB and pays for all necessary RAB meeting expenses.
